正直的人发怒了可以劝说，
卑劣的人生气了越劝越硬；
金银才可以熔化，
狗屎只能化成一股臭气。（106）

恶人住在森林里还是作恶，
善人住在闹市中还是行善^①；
猛兽正是住在森林，
良马正是住在闹市。（108）

　　　 　　◆ 失去洁净美好的环境，物质生活再优裕也是毫无意义的。

◆ 净化心灵须去除贪，凝神静思方能觉悟。

◆ 人为的疏忽，或是一个可怕的贪念，小则污染了一条清澈纯净
　　　　的小溪，大则毁灭了我们赖以生存的家园——地球。

　　　　　　　　　　 纵人于众集会中，攻吾隐私出恶言，

　　　作出大胆的好决定容易，可实施起来却非常困难。
　　The sleeping fox catches no poultry. Up！Up！
　　　睡觉的狐狸捉不到家禽。起来！起来！
　　Sloth（like rust）consumes faster than labour wears: the used key is always bright.
　　　懒惰（像铁锈）比劳动消耗得更快：使用中的钥匙总是发亮的。
